As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnerships and exchange expertise in the field of communication and public relations, The Scientific Center – one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences – signed a cooperation agreement with the Kuwait Public Relations Association at The Scientific Center headquarters in Salmiya.
The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in areas of training, media development, and organizing joint events, in addition to supporting community responsibility initiatives and public awareness efforts that contribute to promoting a culture of effective communication and developing the skills of professionals in the public relations sector.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Musaed Al-Yaseen, Director General of The Scientific Center, and Mr. Jassem Jamal Al-Nasrallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Public Relations Association, in the presence of several officials from both sides.
During the signing ceremony, both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in unifying efforts between educational and professional institutions to develop communication performance in the State of Kuwait and to support national talents in the field of public relations and institutional media.
In his remarks on this occasion, Mr. Musaed Al-Yaseen, Director General of The Scientific Center, said:
“We are proud to sign this agreement with the Kuwait Public Relations Association, which represents the leading expertise in this field. This collaboration reflects our deep belief in the importance of building bridges of communication with pioneering national institutions, contributing to the development of our staff’s skills and enhancing the quality of our communication mission in serving the objectives of The Scientific Center and our Kuwaiti community.”
Al-Yaseen added that through this agreement, The Scientific Center will implement joint training programs and workshops and participate in initiatives that highlight the importance of scientific communication and interactive media in raising public awareness.
Mr. Jamal Al-Nasrallah also stated:
“We at the Kuwait Public Relations Association are honored to sign this agreement with The Scientific Center, one of the most prominent national institutions that combines knowledge and innovation, addressing all segments of society with a refined scientific and humanitarian spirit. This partnership stems from our shared belief in the importance of advancing modern public relations practices and employing them to support sustainable development and promote a culture of responsible institutional communication across our national organizations.”
Al-Nasrallah added:
“The agreement includes cooperation in the areas of training, knowledge exchange, and organizing specialized public relations events and conferences, as well as providing advisory and media support and participating in community initiatives aimed at enhancing social responsibility and promoting scientific culture.”
